Job Title: Production Supervisor
Department: VAP Production
Reports To: Production Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned from day to day in different areas of the facility.
· Takes direct orders from Production Manager.
· Will monitor product inventory and adjust production quantities as needed.
· Needs to track raw product arrival from West Coast and facilitate unloading. Also monitors getting raw product from B&W harvesting crew to plant.
· Monitor key supply inventories.
· Manage empty RPC inventory.
· Responsible for scheduling and daily assignments of all the VAP and/or Bunch personnel.
· Must notify maintenance of any mechanical needs.
· Is held accountable for notifying manager on any process or product non-conformity.
· Responsible for communicating information up and down the line. From manager to line employees and back.
· Reports all inaccuracies to Supervisor immediately.
· Make sure all the quality, safety and operation procedures are followed thoroughly.
· Must be able to work long hours and weekends. Must work well in a team environment, promoting a positive atmosphere, teamwork and cooperation.
· Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and according to the standard set by B & W.

QUALIFICATIONS

· EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE – High School Diploma (or equivalent) with basic math skills and good penmanship. Previous experience in a packing house preferred.
· COMMUNICATION SKILL LEVEL – Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with supervisor and understand food and machine safety and sanitation standards and guidelines. Bi-Lingual.
· COMPUTER SKILLS – General computers skills including windows, excel, word and outlook.
· PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS – Previous packing house experience.
· CERTIFICATIONS and/or LICENSES REQUIRED – N/A
· MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT USED – Smock, Gloves, Hair/Beard Net, Protective Sleeves, Boxes and Pallet Jack.
