Java Support Engineer
Location: Plano, TX, (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Cornerstone TTS is partnering with our client in Plano, TX who is looking toward the future with ambitious growth plans and is currently seeking Java Support Engineers to join their team!
What You’ll Be Doing
Understanding Operations:
- Lead the implementation of our client’s practices, with expertise in X12 EDI transactions, ensuring compliance with CAQH requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of their operations, focusing on its role in facilitating transactions between different parties.
Customer Interface Development:
- Design and develop user interfaces that enable customers to efficiently interact with our client’s operations.
- Ensure that interfaces are user-friendly, secure, and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Meet project deadlines consistently.
System Configuration:
- Configure backend systems to support operations, including setting up databases, servers, and network configurations.
- Maintain necessary protocols to ensure secure data processing.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure the system meets all regulatory requirements and standards for data privacy and security.
- Stay updated on changes that could impact operations and adjust the system as necessary.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of customer interfaces and system configurations to ensure reliability and performance.
- Address any issues discovered during testing and refine the system accordingly.
Documentation and Support:
- Create comprehensive documentation for system configuration and customer interfaces.
- Provide ongoing support and training to users of their system.
- Monitor customer performance until the support is successfully handed off.
Communication:
- Communicate with customers (via emails and phone calls) about workflows.
- Inform clients of any critical production issues that may affect their processes.
- Report critical production issues related to clients to the development manager or COO.
- Adhere to our client’s standards for courteous and professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Maintain consistently high ratings on customer satisfaction surveys.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all customer emails and phone calls in accordance with our client’s communication policy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Production:
- Manage daily production for assigned customers.
- Ensure no batches or claims are delayed or overlooked due to technical issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Java
- Proficiency with Unix-like operating systems
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Strong oral and written communication skills

Requirements:
- At least a 4-year technical degree (or equivalent)
- 0-5 years of similar experience
- Experience with the technologies listed in the previous section
