Overview:
This individual will be a registered and licensed Dietitian with clinical experience. In addition to managing co-workers and processes, the individual will be proficient in EPIC, represent the department at meetings of a clinical nature and perform medical record audits for adherence to nutrition standards of care and regulatory requirements. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards
Qualifications:
- Experience: Five years experience as a dietitian
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Human Nutrition, or related field.
- Certifications: Registered and Licensed Dietitian AND, ASPEN, AADDE, CNSD, CDE Pediatric certification, or Renal certification.
- Other: Leadership skills. Ability to read and write. EPIC superuser or ability to attain that level of competency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Adequate visual and auditory skills to provide patient care. Ability to stand for long periods of time and to walk for long distances. Proficiency with EMR and nutrition software in use
