Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Staff Accountant will assist the Senior Accountant with the application of GAAP to financial records. This will require the preparation of assigned reconciliation for review by Senior Accountant.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Four (4) or more years of private accounting experience
Ability to understand, interpret, and disseminate financial information to ensure compliance with GAAP.
Effectively communication within and across departments to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely recoding of journal entries for assigned general leger accounts.
Significant exposure to month-end close procedures and strong understanding of reconciliation and appropriate correcting entries.
Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and communication skills.
