We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Dental Director to lead our community dental clinic in Jefferson City, MO. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the oral health of our community while overseeing the clinic's operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dental care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the community dental clinic, including supervising dental staff and support teams.
- Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and training to dentists and dental hygienists.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care.
- Monitor patient care programs to ensure they meet the clinic's goals and community needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of complex dental cases.
- Collaborate with community health organizations and other healthcare providers to promote comprehensive patient care.
- Manage the clinic's budget, resources, and staffing needs in collaboration with the administrative team.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA standards.
- Advocate for the clinic within the community and engage in outreach activities to expand the clinic's reach.
Qualifications:
- DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Active MO state dental license in good standing or eligibility for licensure.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to serving the community and improving public health.
- Experience in a community health or public health setting is preferred.
