Senior System Analyst - SAP - EWM
A fast-paced retail environment, are seeking an ambitious Systems Analyst to support business growth and enhance state-of-the-art systems and applications. This role requires a technical-functional background with expertise in SAP S4 EWM/WM systems and a strong grasp of supply chain logistics processes. The Systems Analyst will analyze business needs, implement IT concepts, and provide operational support for distribution centers across the North America region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into IT concepts and implement solutions in SAP S4 EWM/WM LES, covering inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and transportation systems.
- Configure, customize, optimize, and continuously improve information systems for logistics and cross-module functionalities using standard SAP tools for both proprietary and third-party logistics environments.
- Assist in testing activities, including creating and reviewing test scenarios, executing unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide 2nd and/or 3rd level operational support for logistics systems and applications, including analysis, corrective actions, and solutions.
- Actively participate in cutover, go-live, and hyper care activities for projects.
- Collaborate closely with regional business units, global IT teams, and external vendors to implement solutions effectively.
- Mentor and develop junior team members within the EWM modules on technical and process-related areas.
- Stay informed about and integrate industry technology trends into our systems and processes.
You will ideally need:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Over 5 years of IT experience implementing and supporting business solutions using SAP eWM and/or SAP WM-LES, with a preference for experience in retail or consumer goods.
- Proven experience in detailed requirements gathering and strong business process design skills.
- Expert-level background in SAP EWM module configuration, with deep knowledge of warehouse processes and concepts (e.g., PPF, RF, warehouse monitor, labels, forms, webdynpros).
- Hands-on experience in EWM interface development with SAP-ECC modules like SD/MM/PP and non-SAP systems using (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services/QRFC).
- Substantial experience in test management, planning, and execution.
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Tosca Test Automation tools.
- Experience with SAP upgrade/migration projects is a plus.
- Preferred ABAP background with debugging skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, objectives, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and analytically in a dynamic environment.
