Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Brava, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, product quality and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement production systems that meet our rigorous standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Analyze and improve existing processes using lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma principles.
- Coordinate with the production team to implement new systems and troubleshoot issues in the manufacturing process.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures for engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet quality standards using A3, 8Ds and other lean manufacturing tools.
- Assist in the training of manufacturing personnel on new technologies and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Polymer, Materials, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering role a plus.
- CAD software proficiency a plus.
- Polymer processing knowledge a plus.

Starting Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
