I have an exciting cardiovascular startup in Menlo Park that’s looking for a Staff to Principal R&D Engineer to work on next-generation catheter-based devices for cardiovascular applications. Looking for a strong technical lead & mentor to junior engineers. New IP development.
Technology: Steerable Catheter-based interventional devices for Cardiovascular Applications.
Will be making improvements to existing system; and also design/development of next-gen applications using similar technology.
35-person company with flagship device close to starting FIH trial and IDE study.
Ideal Candidate:
- BS or MS Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- 7-10+ years medical device experience with Catheter-based devices
- Hands-on engineer with strong design, prototype, materials & process capabilities.
- Need strong CAD skills (SolidWorks)
- Startup experience is helpful, or a mix of startup & large company would be good.
The company just raised Series A Funding; and has a good team of R&D Engineers (2 Principals, 1 Staff, 3 Seniors, and another handful of Eng II’s).
Full-Time Permanent Position

Salary Flexible $150-200K base + Strong Equity (Stock Options) package
