Piper Maddox are working with one of the worlds largest utilities who are looking to hire 2x Senior Electrical Engineers to continue building their significant presence across the US renewable market.
With a focus on delivering tailored energy solutions, they have a portfolio across Solar, BESS and Wind projects and, in turn, are looking to develop their O&M team with further hires who can bring a strong education in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience specifically working on Utility scale / C&I Renewable projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering projects within O&M for the maintenance and improvements of renewable energy generation projects, including definition of requirements and specifications, review of engineering drawings and on-going project management.
- Respond and provide technical assistance to field personnel in the areas of high voltage collection, substation, and transmission equipment up to 500kV
- Provide consulting support across the organization
- Provide efficient preventative maintenance programs
- Proficient root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility or power plant operations and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent required
- Professional Engineering (P.E) License preferred, but not required
- Located in Dallas, Texas. Happy to work in office 3 days a week
