Position Summary:
As an Application Administrator III (Senior) , your role typically involves a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and responsibility for managing and maintaining critical applications within an organization
Responsibilities:
1. Application Deployment and Configuration: You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and deploying applications across various environments, such as development, testing, and production. This includes ensuring proper integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
2. System Monitoring and Maintenance: You will monitor the performance and availability of applications, ensuring that they are running smoothly and meeting service level agreements (SLAs). This involves diagnosing and resolving any technical issues, applying patches and updates, and optimizing system performance.
3. Security and Access Control: As a Senior Application Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining application security. This includes implementing access controls, managing user accounts and permissions, conducting regular security audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Troubleshooting and Support: You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues reported by users or detected through monitoring tools. This involves investigating problems, analyzing logs, coordinating with development teams if necessary, and providing timely and effective support to minimize downtime.
5. Performance Optimization: You will identify areas for performance improvement and implement measures to enhance the efficiency and scalability of applications. This may involve tuning database queries, optimizing code, implementing caching mechanisms, or utilizing load balancing techniques.
6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: You will create and maintain documentation related to application administration, including installation guides, configuration procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices. Additionally, you may conduct training sessions or provide guidance to junior administrators, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
7. Collaboration and Leadership: As a senior member of the team, you may be responsible for coordinating with other IT departments, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and operation of applications. You may also participate in project planning, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and contribute to decision-making processes.
8. Continuous Improvement: You will stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to application administration. You will assess the existing infrastructure and processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance application management and performance.

Working Relationships:
This position will have contact will all levels throughout the Company, including Stores, Distribution Center, Culinary Center, Regional Offices and Corporate Headquarters, as well as outside vendors to satisfy the need of the Company.
Requirements:
Minimum Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically preferred. However, relevant work experience and certifications can sometimes compensate for a formal degree.
Preferred Education:
Minimum Experience: 7-10 years of experience in application administration or a related IT field.
Preferred Experience: Oracle Fusion FP&A, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle EPM, Oracle Restuarant Supply Chain Management, SCM

Soft Skills/Competencies:
- Technical Proficiency: A strong foundation in various technologies and platforms is essential. This includes experience with operating systems (such as Windows or Linux), databases (such as Oracle or SQL Server), web servers (such as Apache or IIS), networking concepts, and scripting/programming languages (such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash). Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is also becoming increasingly important.
- Application Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and experience with specific applications used in the Retail Industry. Ex: Point of Sale Systems, ERPs, Warehouse Applications, HRIS, etc.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Skills: As a senior-level administrator, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Experience in troubleshooting applications, diagnosing performance problems, and implementing effective solutions is crucial.
- Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of application security principles, access control, and compliance requirements is important.
- Leadership and Communication: As a senior role, you may be required to provide guidance to junior team members, collaborate with other teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Therefore, leadership skills, the ability to work well in a team, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important.

Hours & Conditions: Typically Monday – Friday, 8+ hour days in office setting
Physical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required; sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.
