The Reconstruction Manager is responsible to lead the Reconstruction department to ensure resources are deployed in a timely and effective manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and deploy mitigation personnel and equipment resources in property reconstruction scenarios
- Assess team competencies and coach individuals to close operational gaps
- Review personnel resumes and conduct interviews in coordination with other leaders in hiring capacities
- Manage a portfolio of sub-trades to ensure third-party vendors adhere to similar service expectations as employees
- Coordinate with other functional leaders to ensure customer needs are being met in a timely manner
- Manage reconstruction project budgets with direction from assigned Project Managers
- Document project delivery milestones and other relevant project information in project databases
- Identify potential project risks and issues and communicate them to project managers
- Work with customers directly in escalation situations and/or in highly complex project deliveries
- Train personnel towards improved productivity regardless of tenure Ensure Quality Metrics (SLAs) are documented, and minimum insurance carrier expectations are maintained
- Lead regular team meetings to ensure morale and project delivery standards are maintained/improved
- Maintain and manage inventories of both regularly required and specialty building materials as needed
- Assist technicians and sub-trades on project sites when require
Education and Experiences:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous leadership experience in restoration, construction, or a related industry
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- 2 years leading a team of 4 or more direct reports in a restoration environment
- Journeymen’s certificate in a related trade
