As a BCBA at Opal Autism Centers, you play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral analysis services to individuals with autism. Your primary responsibilities include conducting behavioral assessments, creating and modifying treatment plans, and ensuring the delivery of effective behavior intervention services. You are expected to meet specific performance metrics that contribute to the center's operational efficiency and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Service Delivery: Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week to ensure consistent client services. Conduct initial assessments promptly, completing them within one week of client assessment appointment. Regularly update treatment plans and submit all modifications by the stipulated deadlines. Implement an average of 15% protocol modification of direct client hours weekly, tailoring interventions to maximize client progress. Supervision must be effective and include documentation in accordance with payor guidelines.
Supervision: Ensure that RBTs are provided written feedback on RBT feedback forms during protocol modification sessions. Supervision, based on experience, may include the oversight of student analysts pursuing BCBA certification.
Data Management and Reporting: Ensure accurate and complete session notes, documenting client progress and intervention specifics. Utilize correct CPT codes for all services to ensure proper billing and compliance. Conduct timely conversions of initial assessments to ongoing treatment to maintain continuity of care.
Client and Family Engagement: Hold weekly or monthly meetings with parents/guardians to discuss progress, concerns, and adjustments to treatment plans. Uphold the center's cancellation policy by holding families accountable, minimizing disruptions in the treatment schedule.
Operational Compliance: Fulfill pod assignments effectively, ensuring that all necessary resources are utilized efficiently within your assigned group. Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and training requirements.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field. Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. NC-LBA required.
• Proven experience in clinical behavior analysis, preferably working with individuals diagnosed with autism.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in evidence-based behavioral treatment methodologies.
Physical Requirements:
Must be willing to commute to work in the center- we do not provide remote services
Fluent in the English language
Able to learn, demonstrate, and explain physical skills of moderate complexity
Physically able to move from a standing position to one knee and back up, without assistance or support
Normal functioning and range of motion in arms, legs, hips, wrists, back, neck, etc.
The role may involve lifting, twisting, pulling, or pushing up to 60 lbs., and adherence to safety protocols and infection control policies
