Stewart, Wald & Smith is a small law firm based in St. Louis and Kansas City that handles large plaintiffs’ inverse condemnation cases around the country, filed against the federal government in Washington, D.C. We are looking for an attorney with experience and outstanding research and writing skills. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience writing complex briefs, including prior experience drafting dispositive motions, and a strong academic background. Bar license in any state is acceptable because our practice is in the Court of Federal Claims in D.C. We pay a competitive salary based upon experience. Applicant must be a self-starter who enjoys client interaction and who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities and understand the importance of deadlines. A writing sample is required when applying.
