Title: Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Prefer 5 days onsite, could do 4 days onsite
Pay Rate: $35-60/hr DOE
Duration: 6-12 month contract to permanent hire - will go permanent!
Work Authorization: Must be able to obtain a clearance (likely will not need a clearance for this role, but want to be sure just in case)
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Electrical background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, industrial, aerospace engineering or related fields
- Understanding of engineering drawings, specifically schematics
- DOD or Aerospace background
Plusses:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP
- 3D modeling experience
- Mechanical Design experience with CREO or similar CAD tool
- Familiarity with MIL standards
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing and repair of assemblies used on military vehicles for one of our largest aerospace clients. This candidate needs to have a background in electrical schematics and wiring, writing work instructions, and shop floor routing.
The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer should also be able to understand difficult tech packages, understand how to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics, and also be familiar with bill of materials. They should be able to support multiple projects, in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
