Place Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Commercial Flooring Project Executive in our Flooring Division to be based out of our Easley, SC (Greenville area) location.
The Commercial Flooring Project Executive is to successfully coordinate the execution of Place Services, Inc.’s commercial contract flooring projects. Having personal characteristics that demonstrate a sincere desire to “focus on the customer”, “do whatever it takes”, and to “always get better”. Candidates must pass a Background Check and drug screen.

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate logistics, material management, installation, and payroll management to provide General Contractors and Owners a finished product that exemplifies Place Services, Inc.’s core purpose and values
- Ensures the organization’s commercial contracts are being executed per plans and specs while maintaining manufacturer’s warranties by guaranteeing products are being installed in accordance with product and/or industry guidelines
- Initiate scope meetings with necessary parties such as Warehouse Manager, Estimating, Installation Manager, Project Coordinator, etc.
- Well versed in business development in the commercial flooring/construction industry
- Review and have a full understanding of assigned projects including:
- Labor requirements and labor budgets
- Responsible for overall project budget
- Facilitate logistics, e.g., containers, freight, lifts, housing, etc.
- Coordinate with client, subcontractor and warehouse team about material arrival and schedule; communicate any material backorders or concerns
- Arrange deliveries either internally or through freight carriers
- Track, audit and manage overall material inventories throughout the projects
- Track all cost - labor, materials, soft cost against established budget(s)
- Execute approved change orders in a timely manner
- Complete any required safety documentation such as AHA’s with assistance from the project coordinator
- Initiate internal RFIs and ensure that field coordination issues are resolved and any changes to plans and specs documented and communicated
- Other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, client facing attitude and aptitude for learning in a fast paced environment
- Construction industry experience
- Possess strong computer literacy including Excel, Word, and Outlook with the aptitude to learn other industry specific software programs
- Successfully pass a Background Check
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices preferred
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) preferred
- Solid list of contacts in the flooring and construction industry preferred
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be willing to travel as needed
