Odyssey is looking to hire a SCADA/Control Systems Specialist with 10+ years’ experience. This role will be reporting to the Control Systems Team located in the Houston, Texas office. The primary responsibilities will include day-to-day SCADA system support and assisting with SCADA display creation, point creation and point-to-point checkout as needed.
***Experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly called OASyS) is highly preferred.***
Additional Responsibilities for this position may include (but are not limited to):
• Managing IT Service Management work intake queues; providing L1/L2 support for SCADA, Leak Detection, data poller, data historian, Alarm Management, and other OT systems, escalating to higher levels of support as needed.
• Performing daily system administration tasks/system health checks, monitors, maintains and tunes applications, and maintains system reliability metrics/dashboards.
• Assisting new users in obtaining appropriate levels of OT system access; managing user access and privileges in Active Directory.
• Assisting with execution of information protection compliance tasks including user access reviews, physical access log reviews, system configuration validation, system patching coordination and patch testing.
• Providing problem solving, continuous improvement and standardization efforts for SCADA-related work processes; documents technical procedures and work processes.
• Supporting the configuration of the SCADA system database and displays, and performing point-to-point checkout with the field on an as-needed basis.
• Assisting with deployment or maintenance of servers, workstations, monitors and cabling in support of Control Room operations on an as-needed basis.
• Administering AD groups for application access, folder access and email distribution.
