Firmware QA - Onsite in Alpharetta, GA
Firmware Test Engineer: We are looking for a firmware QA Engineer to join our team and help us validate different product lines such as Collector, Elec. EP, Battery EP or EIC. You will be responsible for both manual and automating the manual test cases. Firmware QA engineer will be using existing Robot FW along with python to create/modify test-scripts. Will be responsible in creating/maintaining/debugging your own test-setup.
Qualifications:
- Experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Familiarity with networking standards and protocols (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DHCP).
- Proficiency in Python and/or Linux shell scripting.
- Perform manual verification of the test steps before automating them. Integrate the automated test scripts with the nightly regression build testing system.
- Report and track defects and issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with other QA engineers and developers to ensure quality standards and best practices.
- Exposure to consumer networking hardware (routers, switches, wireless access points) – Good to have.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Work independently.
$__45_/hr to $___55__/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
