Raytheon is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. SkillBridge Summary:
The Logistics Transformation Data Professional will be response for developing and deploying data and reporting solutions which deliver improved performance and cost-savings throughout the Logistics organization. Successful professionals are able to understand business processes, holistically gather and analyze data across the logistics value stream, transform it into a manageable form, and deliver an action plan by priority to the process owners for execution. They will develop effective working relationships with business partners and technical experts in order to deliver top results throughout the enterprise.
The ideal SkillBridge Candidate MUST HAVE the following:
Demonstrated a consistent, high-impact record with at least 2 years of work experience in the use of data analytics, and the ability to problem-solve and implement innovative, data-driven solutions.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills required to seamlessly interface and collaborate with all levels of management.
Proactive self-starter that is highly effective both when working independently, and on a team of intelligent and driven professionals.
Able to present high-level, critical analysis, build consensus from stakeholders, and drive strategic decisions with a tactical-level execution.
The ability to build data-derived, but simplified models that can solve complex problems. This will require mastery in:
Analytical Functions: Ability to understand and leverage basic statistical implications from various dependent and independent variables.
Data Mining: Ability to identify patters for volume, periodic variation, cycle time variance, and generic vs. explicit data structures, and a standards-based approach for object names and data types; the ability to document and explain business objectives through logical data models.
Data Science: Ability to mine, scrub, explore, model, and interpret databases to extrapolate relevant information.
Report Generation: Ability to automate the creation and distribution of reports through Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Internet, or other interfaces.

SkillBridge Eligibility overview:
To be eligible for this SkillBridge Fellowship you must meet the following requirements:
• Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
• Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
• Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
• Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
• Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
