6-12+ Month Contract Position
Must be local to the Chicagoland area / onsite 1-2 days a week
Our client is looking to add an Enterprise Architect (EA) that will have a strong background in healthcare and proficiency in LeanIX or similar tool. The EA will have a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems and a proven ability to design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient technological solutions that align with our healthcare-focused business goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture strategy for our healthcare organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
- Use LeanIX to analyze and document the current IT landscape and design future-state architectures.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the funds to align IT strategies and architecture with our business goals.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of IT hardware and software solutions in a healthcare environment.
- Oversee new systems and infrastructure implementations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
- Establish policies and procedures that promote best practices in architecture design and healthcare compliance.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in healthcare IT and integrate them into our enterprise architecture where appropriate.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure architecture compliance with healthcare cybersecurity standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHI).
- Provide guidance and mentorship to IT team members on LeanIX, enterprise architecture best practices, and healthcare IT trends.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with significant experience in the healthcare industry.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in using LeanIX for enterprise architecture management.
- Prior experience in an insurance or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems and regulatory environments (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud computing, network structures, and database management in a healthcare context.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
