Position Summary
As the Chief Program Officer at our client you'll play a pivotal role in advancing their mission. You'll lead four critical sectors within the organization: Construction, Family Services, Retail Operations, and Volunteer Services. Each sector is managed by dedicated upper-level staff members who report directly to you.

- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to shape strategic direction.
- Evaluate and implement innovative approaches and ventures, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Serve as key strategist in evaluation of and expansion into new affordable housing markets.
- Serve as a liaison to the Board and CEO/President, facilitating effective communication and alignment between governance and management.
- Oversee new initiatives and market expansion, ensuring successful execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and transformative leadership to:
- Drive retail growth, optimizing sales strategies and operations.
- Ensure the quality of products, programs, and services offered to families, maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Achieve high levels of satisfaction from families and customers served, along with volunteers who support the work.
- Maximize utilization of human, financial and physical resources to achieve program goals, ensuring efficient and effective resource management.
- Provide training and development opportunities to departmental staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Successfully integrate and implement program changes or new programs to achieve the mission more fully.
- Foster efficient communication between departments and divisions, promoting collaboration and improvement.
- Oversee implementation of department operating plans in alignment with strategic direction, ensuring the achievement of key objectives.
- Optimize building operations through effective tracking and control of building costs, driving operational efficiency.
- Create cost and time efficiency in all services offered.
- Cultivate partnerships with contractors and vendors, managing relationships effectively.
- Manage special projects (e.g., store or office updates), ensuring successful execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related fields.
