Weekly Pay Range - $2300 To $2556 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, holidays as needed, no on-call requirement Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia and lymphoma, inpatient setting. License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Ability to float as needed Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plan of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments - Initiate assessment based on patient problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions - Manage care of patients - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, or clinical priorities - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
