Overview:
The iWaste Support Specialist plays a key role in the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall waste and recycling programs of our customers. The iWaste Support Specialist handles all notification cases generated from the waste monitoring systems, generating purchase orders for and securing and scheduling compactor hauls in a timely manner. Ensures that all haul requests are confirmed with the hauler and notifies the customer of the confirmed pickup.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scheduling Compactor Hauls (from cases generated by monitor Full Notifications)
- Ability to interpret graph data and event logs in Device Portal
- Basic understanding of compactor function
- Using NetSuite to create Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Cases, etc.
- Using the Internal Portal for PO confirmations
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Alerting Customer Service of Site Issues (by emailing internal service address)
- Using NetSuite to investigate open repair issues or stop service tasks.
- Recognizing when customer care is needed.
- Understanding of Stop Service Task creation.
Flagging Devices Needing Technical Assistance (using Teams chat)
- Deeper understanding of pressure data and monitor functions.
- Knowledge of Device Portal menus to find pertinent information.
- Ability to describe or explain technical issues to Analysts 2
- Using NetSuite to find open support cases and navigate messages.
Data Entry (as needed)
- Correcting or entering data in NetSuite
- Correcting or entering Device information in Device Portal
- Knowledge of editing and creating Excel worksheets
- Access to SharePoint and ability to navigate site.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred and/or 2 or more years of relevant experience.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task.
- Ability to react well under pressure and treat others with respect.
- Ability to adapt easily to change.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Good time management skills to prioritize and plan work activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
- Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team.
Compensation details: 20-21 Hourly Wage
