Title: Cyber Security Engineer

Glocomms are partnered with a global boutique Hedge Fund in the search for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join a new division focused on Enterprise Infrastructure Security. In this role you will focus on creating policies for the cloud security environment (Azure), general IT infrastructure, and SecOps, whilst implementing and maintaining security systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Create security policies, procedures, and standards in line with industry best practices and regulations.
- Conduct vulnerability and patch management.
- Spearhead incident response activities.
- Create and implement security architecture for networks, systems, applications, whilst ensuring compliance standards are adhered to.
- Ensure regular penetration testing is conducted whilst maintaining/upgrading network protocols, intrusion detection and response, firewalls, endpoints, and mitigation of security risks.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Security Infrastructure Engineering/Architecture.
- Experience working in a secure Windows/Linux environment as well as security related operating systems.
- Experience working on cloud security and SaaS application posture hardening.
- Knowledge of firewalls, network protocols, IAM, endpoints, pen-testing, and the security risk/threat landscape.
- Excellent communication skills.
