Title: Palo Alto Engineer
Location: Minneapolis MN / Remote
Duration: Full Time
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Need to be U.S. based resource
Proven work experience as a Palo Firewall Engineer/Architect
years of experience with cloud deployments of next gen/firewall (ex. Palo Alto)
years of experience with cloud architecture and networking
years or experience in cloud development, infrastructure as code and automation/deployment
Strong planning and problem-solving skills
Ability to troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), CCSP, Terraform Certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Palo Support/Troubleshooting for various applications
Implement numerous Palo Firewall Security/NAT policies
Develop perimeter security / firewall architecture to protect cloud assets
Identify and implement workload optimization in AWS, Azure and GCP
Participate in incident response for supported cloud projects
Train and educate team members to become self-sufficient in public cloud
The potential compensation for this role is based on labor costs in local markets, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate. Expected base pay for this role ranges from [$100,000] to [$115,000]. [$100,000] to [$145,000] for California . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits and additional compensation offerings, including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options as well as potential incentive or variable compensation.
