Job Title: Informatica Data Quality Developer - IDQ

The Informatica Data Quality - IDQ Developer will be required to work closely with the various teams to perform data analysis and develop data quality rules and metrics. The Informatica Data Quality - IDQ must have strong design and analysis skills to ensure the deliverables are comprehensive and intuitive. Additionally, the Informatica Data Quality - IDQ must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and the process necessary to perform effective change management. The Informatica Data Quality - IDQ must have sound skills in all areas related to data quality and the surrounding development of metrics, scorecards, data quality rules to improve the overall quality of data in our Financial ecosystem.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess and develop data quality rules based on business user requirements
- Test rules to ensure proper functioning o Coordinate testing and validation with the stakeholders
- work with the technology team and adhere to development standards
• Design, Develop and implement data profiles in various manner as outlined below:
- Column Profiling (Base Column, Sub Level Colum ..etc)
- Cross Join Profiling (profiling on joined tables, Integrity Profiling..etc)
- Comparative Profiling pattern o Profiling summary reports for evaluation. o Creating Quick Profiles o Creating Custom Profiles, Run the Profile, Drill Down on Profile Results
- Create a Scorecard from the Profile Results;
• Design, develop and integrate data quality exception results into BI useable formats to enable easy interpretation of transactional data, client data, KPI and Data Quality metrics;
• Establish workflows processing to ensure data is refreshed and available in a timely manner via the use of Informatica ETL
• Work in service now to manage changes and coordinate implementation with production support
Requirements:
• Experience in a regulated Financial institution;
• Experience using the IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) suite for development and reporting; • Knowledge of Informatica components required to operate Data Quality (PowerCenter experience required); Deep knowledge of data quality processes, approaches, measurement techniques, and business cases including Profiling, cleansing, standardization and Match/Merge;
• Demonstrated experience implementing Informatica’s Data Quality components (rules, glossaries, scorecards); Experienced in integrating data quality transformations across architectures where it is called from one or more production applications to perform DQ services and return back and/or display results;
• Excellent inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong SQL skills using DB2, Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server databases;
