Position: Materials Technician
2nd shift 2-10:30pm: Thursday-Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday off)
First 3 weeks of training: 8am-5pm M-F
Location: Dallas, TX 75209
Pay Rate: 25/h
Must Haves:
- HS diploma
- 3+ years of working experience with automotive parts or aviation parts
- Picking / packing / sorting
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to lift 75 pounds

Job Description:
- Hiring for a Materials Technician to ship and receive parts, materials, cores, equipment and replenish inventory in the computer system. This role will have to verify that no visible damage exists to packages, verify all items received comply with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability including part number, serial number and shelf life. Additional responsibilities include performing self-audits, building or relocating shelving, and cycling counts.

*All workers are required to be able to get qualified to pack and ship dangerous goods. This training is paid for by our Client. “Dangerous goods” include batteries (lithium Ion, Nicad, etc), solvents and cleaners, items (valves) that contain residual fuel. Materials Technicians and handlers are not using these hazardous materials but must become qualified to ship them in commerce via air and ground. *
