Position Overview: As a Structural Engineer with our client, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and supervising the construction of structural components for various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in structural design, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure the successful integration of structural elements into overall project designs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure all designs meet the latest standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one.
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within the civil engineering sector.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
