PROGRAM MANAGER, CONNECTED VEHICLE
ALTA IT Services has a long-term contract opening for a Program Manager with automotive OEM experience, ideally connected/autonomous vehicles, to support a leading automotive OEM. This position is 100% onsite in Auburn Hills, MI. An on-site interview is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 5+ years of automotive domain experience and exposure to connected/autonomous vehicles would be a big plus
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing mid/large IT projects (2M+ in terms of revenue OR 20+ in terms of team size).
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Hands-on, self-driven, solution-oriented and customer-focused
- Highly proficient analytical capabilities and able to quickly understand problems and quickly arrive at their solution. Foresighted decision-making is a key to success in this role.
- Solid understanding of core and modern technologies around Cloud, APIs, and web services
- Demonstrate ownership and drive successful outcomes in complex global ecosystems
- Proven track record leading in highly matrixed global organizations
- Strong analytical ability to quickly understand the issues, debug, and arrive at solutions
- Full System Lifecycle expertise and experience in all aspects from planning to operations.
- Communication skills – Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Education and Years of Experience:
- 10+ years of total experience
- 5+ years of program/project management experience
- 2+ years’ experience in status reporting to C-suite executives
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Solid understanding of core and modern technologies around Cloud, APIs, and web services
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
HOURLY RATE: $65/hr. W2, benefits available. C2C is OK through a supplier (No Own LLCs/1099)
