Position: Cloud Networking Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ Preferred,
Duration: 6 months, possible extension to hire
Start Date: Immediate
Experience Level: 5+ years

Responsibilities:
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices
Monitor network performance and integrity
Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Mentor team members on technical issues
Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
Communicate with users when needed
Maintain complete technical documentation
Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have extensive experience in cloud network engineering (Azure, AWS)
Must have experience setup cloud environments for applications and web services to function
Must have experience building and baselining infrastructure specific objects in cloud environments to build consistent cloud tenants using best practice techniques for multiple cloud providers (Azure and AWS)
Must have basic understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
Understanding of IPSEC and other types of VPN and how that transfers into Azure/cloud
Must have experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools)
Must have understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls.
Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure networking experience (nice to have)
Solid background in network administration and architecture
Experience creating/implementing/troubleshooting cloud networks/infrastructure
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Experience with Fortinet and Cisco ASA
Experience with Palo Alto
Azure Virtual WAN with Palo Alto (Prisma Cloud) Experience
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
SD-WAN and Virtual WAN experience
Basic Linux OS experience
Solid troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently with strong organizational and mentoring skills
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
Ability to partner and influence peers and customers.
Project Management skills -not looking for just a solution focused approach; will need timelines & cost estimation.
Training delivery/presentation skills- responsible for rolling out the information to the team by providing a team “walk-through”
Ability to work after hours to support projects and maintenance activities.
Potential travel to support field office projects
