Our Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) team, based in Deer Valley, Arizona, is a global leader with design centers in Minneapolis, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bruno, and Beijing. We are seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success and innovation.
Your Role:
As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer within the CNS Center of Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing engineering projects across our global domain. Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Your expertise in project management and technical engineering will be crucial in ensuring efficient project execution and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in developing proposals, statements of work, and associated cost estimates.
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers and program managers.
- Define and implement project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and prepare schedules and resource forecasts using Microsoft Project.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
- Lead risk management processes to identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
- Manage scope growth through robust baseline change management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project engineering or related roles within the Aerospace industry.
