eNGINE is hiring an Application Developer to support our fortune 500 level client in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with hands-on experience in various frameworks and tools. This role requires a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, functional programming, and full-stack development.
Primary Qualifications:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Utilize Java 11 and the Java Collections Framework to build efficient and scalable solutions.
- Implement functional programming techniques using the Streaming API and Lambda expressions.
- Design and develop applications using Spring Frameworks (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Rest).
- Write and execute unit tests using frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Manage build processes using tools like Maven and Ant.
- Collaborate with the team using Git for version control.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI/CD and ensure smooth deployment processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain policies and procedures for technology concepts.
- Convert complex technical information into clear, concise documents for various audiences.
- Work with technology control management leads and teams to produce policy and process documentation.
- Lead or assist in business requirement sessions and document business requirements.
- Develop and implement business process improvement recommendations.
