Summary:
As a remote Business Analyst with Veracity, you will have the opportunity to work with established Program, Product, and Marketing teams charged with conceptualizing and building new products as well as maintaining and maximizing the profitability of existing products.
This multi-faceted role involves market research for existing and future competing products, gathering and interpreting key performance metrics, and evaluating and contributing to sales forecasts. Opportunities to evaluate and convey product requirements for software development in an agile environment may also be needed on an as-is basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Roadmap building and project follow-through
- Perform market and competitive landscape research to support business plans/cases for existing insurance products
- Monitor product success via financial projections and performance
- Collaborate strategically with marketing and other departments to formulate go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and ongoing marketing campaigns
- Evaluate pricing models for existing products and suggest adjustments to maximize return
- Gather customer feedback via multiple channels to support positioning, messaging, and brand suggestions to Program Management and Product Teams
- Develop software system user stories as needed in support of system enhancements or maintenance under the guidance of the Product Management team
- Evaluate Veracity’s customer and user experience (UI/UX), research competitive and published best practice UX concepts in support of Product and Product Marketing enhancements
- Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication – demonstrated ability in written and oral form to communicate ideas effectively. A strong propensity for telling a persuasive and engaging story and value proposition
- 2+ years of experience
- Collaborative – demonstrated ability to work within a team structure to reach a common and consult on product and marketing initiatives
- Analytical skills to support data-driven decisions
- Product/user interface design experience with web or software technologies
- Financial forecasting and/or Business Case development experience
- Agile project management methodologies and requirements-gathering experience
- Marketing experience a plus
- Tools – Microsoft Office Suite (Emphasis on Excel), Google Drive, Marketing Automation (email, web CMS, etc.), Analytics Platforms (Google, Social, etc.), Financial and Accounting system experience is a plus
