Summary:
The Digital Transformation (DX) Systems Integrator will report to the Digital Transformation Director. The primary purpose of this position is to act as a DX Systems Integrator and deliver DX projects successfully.
Requirements:
Education/Knowledge:
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Controls Engineering or equivalent required
Official certification or degree in Data Science, is a plus.
Experience/Skills:
- 1 – 5 years of relevant experience in Data Management, Data Analytics & Systems Integration
- Knowledge and experience with various programming languages e.g., C#, Python, Lua Scripting, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with data integration and messaging protocols e.g., REST API, MQTT, OPC-UA, XML, JSON, etc. is required.
- Knowledge and experience integrating within AWS, MS Azure, Google, and/or other similar Cloud platforms are desirable.
- Knowledge and experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and similar visualization platforms are desirable.
- Knowledge and experience deploying AVEVA PI, Aspen IP.21, and/or other similar OT Data Historians desirable
- Knowledge and experience with PI-AF desirable, for example:
- PI-AF Element Templates, PI-AF Dashboards, PI-AF Analytics, PI Notifications, PI Event Frames
- Awareness of and some working knowledge of machine learning tools.
- Experience with data-fitting & regression modeling techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the trusted advisor for our customers and build rapport for long-term strong relationships.
- Design a functional data architecture to support the customer’s long-term DX vision.
- Learn and understand customer requirements and design a solution using one or more products and/or solutions from various Puffer Business Units (BU).
- Capture quantifiable business results (QBRs) delivered by the deployed solutions.
- Design and commission plant as well as corporate data historians.
- Architect and deliver applications for IoT Data - On-prem or Cloud.
- Design, Implement & Test data management and visualization solutions to ensure customer success & satisfaction.
- Develop dashboards and reports for data management solutions per design specifications and configure appropriate access control for distribution.
- Analyze large data lakes and identify complex data patterns to deliver analytical models and actionable recommendations.
- Lead conversations with customers pertaining to Master Data Management (MDM), Asset Hierarchy (AF), and Integration of a variety of data sources.
- Monitor and optimize system performance by conducting hardware and software upgrades/replacements.
- Verify project scope accurately & validate deliverables as early as possible.
- Act as functional project manager for the DX projects and as a team lead in a collaborative effort within various business units.
- Deliver end-user training for admin user(s).
- Assist in the development of business justification use cases to support sales activities, as needed.
- Follow safe work procedures and Company safety policies and procedures, which include but are not limited to:
- Obeying warning signs and postings
- Immediately reporting any injury, accident, or near-miss incidents
- Reporting unsafe hazards and unsafe conditions
- Completing safety training by the due date
- Using personal protective equipment as required by the employer
