Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing operations, process monitoring and improvement activities. Additional areas of focus include, but are not limited to: records keeping, basic troubleshooting, procedural recommendations, generation of manufacturing and quality control documentation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
- Review and calculate labor, material and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making.
- Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Generate and maintain: Product specifications / drawings, Item Masters, Routers, Bill of Materials, Inspection documents, Validation protocols, Production forms, any other product related system documentation by writing computer programs and entering data.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
- Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or similar, or Bachelor’s in another technical field.
- 2+ years of relevant related experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service skills and time management.
- Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.

Compensation
$75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience.
