Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Machinist at Low Country Aerospace in Savannah, GA. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating machines, machining parts, conducting milling operations, and ensuring quality control of machined components.
Technical Skills:
- CNC Machine Operation: Proficiency in operating CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, or other related equipment.
- Programming: Ability to read, interpret, and write CNC programs using G-code or other programming languages.
- Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Measurement Tools: Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- CAD/CAM Software: Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
