Jones & Sons is looking to hire a Precast Production Supervisor at our Vincennes, IN location. Started in 1971, we are a family owned and operated business with locations in Bloomfield, Clinton, Linton, Terre Haute, Vincennes and Washington, IN. Our core activities include Ready Mixed Concrete, Block, Brick, Precast Concrete, and Aggregates servicing Southwest Indiana.

Starting Pay:
- Can vary depending on experience, minimum starting pay is $24/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the precast production team.
- Ensure all production tasks are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet production targets.
- Train, mentor, and develop production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure products meet quality specifications and standards.
- Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate production records, including daily reports, timesheets, and inventory logs.
- Address and resolve any production-related issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding production progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in precast concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of precast concrete production processes, equipment, and materials.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to outdoor elements.
