In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, provides therapeutic services including evaluation, treatment, and education. Monitors the treatment activities of COTA's and aides. After one year of experience, may act as student supervisor. Directs treatment activities of OT assistants and rehabilitation techs.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher degree from an educational program for occupational therapists that is accredited by ACOTE, including the required supervised fieldwork. Passing score on NBCOT exam upon successful completion of fieldwork requirements.
Minimum Work Experience
- Previous clinical experience/rehabilitation experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- State licensure (or eligible) as an Occupational Therapist, Risk Category #1.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
Pay Range = $32.01 - $51.15
