firstPRO is looking for an Application Support Specialist for our client who is a major player in the healthcare industry in Maple Shade, NJ. This is a remote role; however, the ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance in case there is an instance in which an on-site presence is required. This role revolves around end user application support and providing support via ticketing, chat and telephone. This is a remote, contract-to-hire role, with compensation up to $22.00/ hour based on experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related discipline
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a call center environment providing customer support
- Technical expertise supporting and troubleshooting application issues in a Microsoft Windows environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office applications
- Committed to providing stellar customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to document and escalate complex problems to the Operations (OPS), Application Development (AD) departments (3rd level support issues) and third-party vendors such as Homecare Homebase
- Ability to manage the IT call tracking database by documenting a detailed description of all communications with users, all follow-up, and documented resolutions
