McLean is looking for a Dredge Division Manager to join our team in the Chesapeake, VA area.
The Dredge Division Manager is responsible for managing dredging contracts, developing and maintaining the opportunity pipeline, leading the estimating efforts for new work, managing the financial reporting for the division, and consulting/making recommendations on decisions regarding equipment cycling.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and ten plus (10+) years of relevant industry experience. Extensive experience with hydraulic, bucket dredging and offloading operations is strongly preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation to work and able to pass a physical/drug screen.
Must be able to pass a Homeland Security background check to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, adapting to extreme temperatures changes and prolonged exposure to outdoor conditions, and be able to navigate and work on barges, boats, vessels, and docks.
