Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temp-to-Hire)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our construction client in Nashville, TN. This temp-to-hire position offers an excellent opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer and driver calls, creating work orders, dispatching, and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer 50+ customer and driver calls daily, providing excellent customer service.
- Create and manage work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with dispatching tasks as needed.
- Process and manage invoicing for completed work orders.
- Maintain organized records and files.
- Oversee bank deposits, post checks, and ACH payments.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
