Our client, a world-renowned multi-million-dollar manufacturer of outdoor and indoor equipment, is embarking on another exciting phase of technical transformation by expanding and enhancing their internal IT landscape. With a Global presence, over 50 locations, countless publications, & several pioneering projects in the pipeline for the next several years, they are expanding their IT team to accommodate growth fueled through acquisition and product expansion.
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team to ensure the quality and performance of their Salesforce Service Console (SFSC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, test automation, and Salesforce development. This resource must have extensive experience with Salesforce specific testing and have experience in a similar industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for the Salesforce Service Cloud specifically Salesforce Service Console.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by creating and executing functional, regression, and performance tests.
- Conduct thorough testing of new features and enhancements in the Salesforce Service Console.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with Development Teams and Leadership
- Work closely with developers to understand new features and design test strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
- Collaborate with development teams and leadership to report findings and resolve issues.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Generate and analyze test reports to provide insights on product quality and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proven experience with Salesforce development and the Salesforce Service Console and Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC)
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Apex.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and technologies (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certifications highly valued (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
