Summary:
To provide high-quality and efficient acute patient care to Middlesex Health patients. Must be familiar and comfortable with diagnosing and treating patients.
Ability and expectation to build your own patient panel from new consults to follow up patients
Requires independent decision making, with immediate access to collaborate with other clinicians as appropriate and necessary
Involved in all aspects of care from obtaining a detailed history, development and implementation of treatment plans, prescription of medications, ordering and interpretation of laboratory tests and diagnostic studies as well as performing some procedures.

seeking acute care provider who can practice independently, while comfortable asking questions or help when appropriate
experience working with a diverse patient population (multicultural environment, with patients of all socioeconomic backgrounds)
Minimum Requirements:
Certification of satisfactory completion of an approved physician's assistant or nurse practitioner program. Connecticut Licensure as a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner. Compliance with all Middlesex Health Medical staff bylaws for maintenance of Middlesex Health privileges. ACLS certification.
