The Role: Moxxi is looking for a Product Manager that will drive our proprietary B2B2C Martech and Adtech platform, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, as part of our larger product and yield team. Moxxi’s platform enables the acquisition, interaction, and monetization of millions of monthly consumers - powering audience segmentation, ad serving/logic, measurement, dynamic optimization, engaging experiences, and more. The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience working on a highly technical product (adtech/martech is a plus), strategic and technical writing, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you’ll do:
- Own the full lifecycle of product development, bringing ideas from inception through requirements to delivery in close partnership with Moxxi’s business and engineering teams.
- Outline product requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for your product area.
- Define and manage a product roadmap for your product area, inclusive of managing tradeoffs, driving alignment, and building consensus.
- Work closely with engineering team, driving agile ceremonies where applicable.
- Own the outcomes of product delivery, including success metrics, seeking customer feedback and usage, and driving iterative improvement.
- Plan and manage technical projects, working with team to establish milestones, associated timelines, and deliverables. Negotiate scope with business and product.
- Work closely with engineering and UX on wireframes, prototypes, and user workflows.
- Serve as a bridge between engineering, business, legal, and operations teams to delivering cross-functional product initiatives.
- Collaborate directly with Moxxi’s founding team on high-impact projects.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree or professional experience. 5+ years of experience, with 2+ years of product management experience. Experience in AdTech, MarTech, or digital publishing preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile practices and principles, with the ability to suggest ideas on how to adapt these practices to the needs of the team and product.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, etc.) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly to both business teams and engineering. Technical writing experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging both data and anecdotes to drive product decisions and measure success. Humility to surface insights, regardless if its the desired result.
- A keen sense for user experience and workflow optimization, understanding how to create products that delight users.
- Love tackling complex problems in an ambiguous environment, and have the grit to get it done.
- Adaptable in fast-faced environments. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
