Position Overview: Andala is seeking a full-time Clinic Physician (MD or DO) to join our patient-centric team in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a team that is innovating healthcare and establishing lasting collaborative partnerships with community physicians and advanced practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interventional evaluations and consultations for new patients, including Spravato, ketamine (for pain management and psychiatry), HRT, and weight loss.
Build and maintain a solid patient base for medication management.
Administer Spravato, IV ketamine, or IM ketamine as appropriate.
Educate patients to ensure adherence to treatment plans.
Provide and manage direct patient care, including new patient evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Develop and implement patient care management plans, document progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
Prescribe medications and other treatment modalities as appropriate, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
Collaborate as part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Instruct and counsel patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.
Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-up care, and other relevant information.
Supervise Nurse Practitioners as needed.
Qualifications:
Current Texas medical license.
Patient-centric attitude with a strong commitment to quality patient care.
Demonstrated initiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
