Title: GIS Engineer or Architect or Developer on W2
Work Location: Onsite Erie County, NY (Need Local candidates only)
Duration: 2 Years
NO GC, GC-EAD, OPT, CPT Candidates.
Need candidate’s resume, DL, visa, degree certificate(s) and GIS Certificate.
Tasks:
- Development, refinement, and management of data and the geodatabase.
- including but not limited to streets, bridges, culverts, signs, and any other assets the County requests.
- Updating, expanding, and/or integrating existing GIS web-based applications, ie:
- Daily Maintenance Operations Dashboard, Public Complaints Application, Maintenance/Project Planning Application, etc.
- Development and/or implementation of new GIS web-based applications.
- Management, implementation, and administration of the GeoEvent Server and Portal for ArcGIS, and provide aid in SQL server operation.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement GIS hardware and software solutions to allow optimum use of GIS within enterprise software and other County resources.
- Support, develop, analyze and further enhance enterprise GIS.
- As needed onsite or remote support of all GIS related requests.
- Provide staff training as needed.
- Maintain and create Python scripting for data transfers and data loading.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Certified GIS Professional.
- Must have experience administering the ESRI enterprise suite (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, DataStore), GeoEvent Server, ArcGIS Online, and various computer languages ie: Python
