We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a contract role with the potential for direct hire with our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in Birmingham, AL. This position involves hands-on responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform aseptic techniques with minimal supervision.
- Execute development, engineering, GLP, or GMP batch records under direct supervision.
- Operate PLC-controlled equipment, including adjusting set-points as directed in batch records.
- Use basic hand tools for equipment operation.
- Adhere to safety practices and procedures, including PPE use.
- Maintain general area housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and experience with GLP/GMP batch records.
- Ability to operate PLC-controlled equipment and use basic hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively under supervision and in a team environment.
