Job Title: Procedure Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU), Ambulatory Care, Endoscopy Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 40 hrs/week, Day/evening, 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday, Rotating start times between Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours Experience: - Minimum of 5 years - Recent experience in recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy - Experience in Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital - Completed two years of experience within the last three years - Successfully completed 13-week traveler assignments License: - Current nursing license or compact license from permanent address state Certifications: - BLS and ACLS certified through American Heart Association Must-Have: - Ability to perform Moderate Sedation and pre/post care including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery - Basic Arrhythmia experience - Must pass Telemetry test prior to starting (not applicable for clinic positions) - Must have a permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Madison Job Description: - Provide care for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures - Establish goals and strategies for discharge or continuing care needs of the patient, family, and/or other care provider - Floating requirement with potential shifts in multiple units, based on current staffing needs - Position requires flexibility and adaptability due to changing unit needs during the assignment Join a top-ranked hospital and contribute to a high-standard care team.
