Lead Jira, C++ Senior Software Engineer - Phoenix AZ
Our Arizona based client is a leader in cutting-edge solutions for advanced Semiconductor Capital Equipment. Semiconductor Capital Equipment leads the industry for semiconductor chip manufacturers like Intel and Samsung.
Our client's Software Engineering Team works on delivering critical software for the operation of semiconductor processing equipment hardware, which includes robotics, gas valves, temperature controllers, and other hardware systems.
As the Software Engineering Lead or Manager, you'll work as a hands-on expert with a growing team of software developers for the innovation of Semiconductor Equipment Software. Your role will be to define software development plans for the BUs and be responsible for generating software roadmap, as well as:
- Plan and manage on-time execution of multiple software baselines with Jira.
- High quality C++ software development with strong collaboration between software development and software quality teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience with Jira software baseline builds management
- Strong software development skills in C++ is a must have skill.
- Expertise with Software Release and Planning.
- Experience in technical lead or management roles.Ability to drive software architecture to meet long term business needs.
- Proven experience in team building and people development.
- Strong ownership for tasks at hand, pro-active leadership, customer oriented (both internal and external).
- Experience Git version control.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the semiconductor process equipment industry, data center, pharmaceutical, or petro-chemical industries
This is an amazing opportunity with great pay! The salary range is $180 - $225k base (DOE), up to 20% bonus, and RSUs.
The paid vacation and holiday policy starts with two weeks vacation, plus one week flex time off, one week of PTO for health, 12 paid holidays, and 2 floating holidays.
