Our Client: A leader in the renewable energy market, focusing on developing utility-scale and community solar energy projects across North America.
Position Overview: The Senior Project Development Manager will be a key member of the leadership team. This role will lead the development of greenfield projects from origination through NTP. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of growing team and make an immediate impact.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Manage relationships with key business partners.
- Manage all project data, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead real estate negotiations / agreements and maintain landowner relationships.
- Facilitate the preparation of RFP responses and collaborate with key business partners.
- Represent the company with customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholder engagement.
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of previous experience in energy project development required.
- Proven experience overseeing many different projects and managing competing deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage community engagement.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
Competitive Compensation Package:
- $160,000 starting base salary + bonus
