Job Description: The Paralegal will provide vital support to our attorneys, helping to ensure that our clients receive the best possible legal representation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures, be highly organized, and possess excellent research and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and discovery materials.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions, including coordinating schedules, preparing exhibits, and managing witness logistics.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to manage case progression.
- File documents with the court and ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
- Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Support the legal team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Paralegal in [Relevant Practice Area, e.g., litigation, corporate law].
